For those of you who are used to using Google Chat to communicate with your students/clients/customers, there is an interesting (and little known) feature that might be able to help make communication easier. When you find that your interlocutor is not able to express themselves effectively in English, they can simply type the word or phrase in their native language and have it translated immediately.  How?  Enable a Google Chat Translation Chatbot (phew!) as a third person in the conversation.  More info on how to enable those chatbots here.
